A prayer…

Father we know how much you love your children both those that have already come home and those not yet returned

Give us your heart, that we would not only be concerned with our own matters, but that we would reach out a hand to the ones in need

Even in those times when we can’t physically do anything, please remind us that we could always pray

Thank you that your light shines through our eyes

Your love is seen and known through a smile

We must not forsake the broken

We must not overlook the wounded

We must lift up the weak

We must shield the lonely

We are called to bear one another’s burdens

We are called to weep with those who weep….

Please stop for a moment today and pray for the desolate, the hurting, the broken and the weary

Father, give us your heart that may live not for ourselves but for the other person….

The promise…

Isaiah 61.7

“Because your shame was double, and they cried out, “Disgrace is their portion,” therefore, they will possess double in their land, and eternal joy will be theirs.”

“Instead of your shame and confusion, A second time they sing of their portion, Therefore in their land A second time do they take possession, Joy age-during is for them.”

So now the command is, “Sing, you barren woman, even the one who never bore a child! Burst into song and shout for joy, even you who were never in labour! For the children of the desolate woman will be more than the children of her that is married,” says the LORD. Isaiah 54.1

…Dear one, to be able to walk in the promise you have been given, you will need to open your mouth and sing…

Even in the midst of your pain, your voice is required

So sing, even if you have to cry, singing

Sing his promises over you and dance

Sing out loud..

Sing the promise he gave you in night

Sing and the flowers will bloom in your land

The desert will become a spring of water; ever-flowing, and never-ending

So sing, dear one, sing….

Love
