The lord is with you…mighty warrior

These words were spoken to a man who was hiding from the enemy

Today, these same words are still reverberating from eternity into time

These words are for the weary, the downtrodden, the cast-away, the one who feels like giving up, the one who is hiding in shame, the one who feels abandoned, the one who has listened to the lies of the enemy for so long…

If the lord is with me then… why?

Why am I still in this painful situation?

Why is my mind in turmoil?

Why am I alone?

But this same enemy that you see this day, the one that appears to cling to you

You will destroy, with your own hands

You are the one, who will trample your enemy into the dust

Go in this your might that I have clothed you in, Am I not sending you?

Papa says, ” I am the strength of your life.”

He says, “through me you will leap over every wall, you will run through a troop.”

We are not called to a battle with people; we don’t wrestle against flesh and blood

We fight against powers and spiritual wickedness in high places..

As we turn our hearts to the one who loves forever

As we fix our gaze upon the lover of our souls

He will cause a sound to be heard from mouths …a battle cry, a roar of triumph, a song that will pierce through the darkness

Don’t give up dear one …you are not forgotten

The lord is with you…mighty warrior

The promise…

Isaiah 61.7

“Because your shame was double, and they cried out, “Disgrace is their portion,” therefore, they will possess double in their land, and eternal joy will be theirs.”

“Instead of your shame and confusion, A second time they sing of their portion, Therefore in their land A second time do they take possession, Joy age-during is for them.”

So now the command is, “Sing, you barren woman, even the one who never bore a child! Burst into song and shout for joy, even you who were never in labour! For the children of the desolate woman will be more than the children of her that is married,” says the LORD. Isaiah 54.1

…Dear one, to be able to walk in the promise you have been given, you will need to open your mouth and sing…

Even in the midst of your pain, your voice is required

So sing, even if you have to cry, singing

Sing his promises over you and dance

Sing out loud..

Sing the promise he gave you in night

Sing and the flowers will bloom in your land

The desert will become a spring of water; ever-flowing, and never-ending

So sing, dear one, sing….
