A prayer…

Father we know how much you love your children both those that have already come home and those not yet returned

Give us your heart, that we would not only be concerned with our own matters, but that we would reach out a hand to the ones in need

Even in those times when we can’t physically do anything, please remind us that we could always pray

Thank you that your light shines through our eyes

Your love is seen and known through a smile

We must not forsake the broken

We must not overlook the wounded

We must lift up the weak

We must shield the lonely

We are called to bear one another’s burdens

We are called to weep with those who weep….

Please stop for a moment today and pray for the desolate, the hurting, the broken and the weary

Father, give us your heart that may live not for ourselves but for the other person….

Papa speaks…

I am here right now

Not only in your distant – imagined future where you hear the winds billow as you sit on a sunset beach

Yes, I am most assuredly there – I am in your tomorrows …. but I need you to know, I am here right now

I am very present in this place you call mundane

This place you call, ‘not arrived’….

I am here, surrounding you with my love

Writing my word on your heart

Healing the breaking of your heart

I am walking beside you on this road

Though the valleys, the rocky grounds and every shadowed path…

I AM….most present

For I am the present and the future

Everything evolves through me… I AM
